The story behind the gremlin bell is awesome; apparently there was an old rider and his woman coming home from a long trip alone and just before they arrived home their motorcycle broke down on a lonely desert road. Before he knew what was happening, the road Gremlins were coming to get him and the only thing he had to fend them off with was a saddlebag full of toys he was bringing home for the orphaned children.  Among these toys he found a bell and when he started ringing the bell a couple of other bikers that were camping out for the night out on the desert heard this bell and decided to investigate. When they approached the sound of the bell they discovered the old biker and his woman were in trouble and helped to discourage the Gremlins from doing any real harm to the couple. Once they were all safe again the old biker wanted to give something to the two bikers that helped in their time of need so he tied a string through two bells and gave one to each of the biker’s telling them that if they tied this to their motorcycles it would keep the evil spirits away.
